Ever since I was 6 I've always held onto the dream of a portable Blinx. I made several possible GBA, PSP and DS control schemes and concepts over the years, culminating with the idea of a 3DS remake of the original that I'm 99 percent positive could work. The controls more or less map out like the original game except now Time Controls can be selected via the Touch Screen, where other important details such as the monster checklist and trash gauge could be located. It's a long shot, especially considering that rumour of Artoon disbanding, but hey, can't stop a guy from dreamin'. I was also thinking of a Tamagotchi-esque minigame where you take care of a Chrono Blob; do you guys have any other ideas/improvements/concepts? ;D

I like it. Sounds like an effective use of the 3DS' control scheme and displays, complete with Chao Garden Chrono Blobbary.
I can think of a few possible improvements, like adding the Combo system from Blinx 2, fixing the auto-aim, and making the final boss less cheap (but removing the Restart Stage cheat to compensate).
Other than that, more levels?

Great thinking man! Haha, I used to love Chao Garden as a kid, that's an awesome point. Regarding your other ideas, the time combos'd be great if they either added new stages as you said or modified the existing ones, and the auto-aim fix is well-needed, especially in the later levels where objects seem to get caught on nothing. And yeah, that final boss battle was cheap as. I only managed to complete it the other day, thanks to that legendary stage-skip function.

Slightly off topic, but a stage skipping cheat? Is that the one where you jump back into the gate as soon as you jump out of it?
Anyways, I think all of these ideas are good. I can't contribute anything at the moment because I just woke up and my brain's still fuzzy. XD

Oddly enough that one never seemed to work for me: I used the one where you have to plug the controller into the second port and press Black then White.

I meant the overlooked behaviour of "Restart stage" in the pause menu - it gives you as many attempts at the final boss as you like, whereas dying means you have to beat the previous bosses again as well.

Ah, I see. I haven't beaten the game yet, so I probably won't know what you guys are talkin' about every now and then. XD

Haha, don't worry; I only managed to get up to Momentopolis thanks to my 9 year old self being, like... a ninja or something. XD
Anyway, back on topic, I was playing through the game again today to get enough money for the Ultimate Sweeper (it's my last step towards 100% clearing the game) and I realised that the game would definitely benefit from both a proper drag-'n-drop inventory system (perhaps like Blinx 2's?) instead of having to constantly re-buy equipment, (especially the fire and water sweepers) and perhaps Blinx 2's time control collection system too instead of the irritating 'one control at a time' thing, if you know what I mean. I was brainstorming ways the system's other features could be used too: SpotPass downloadable FMVs and bonus content would be nice. Play Coins and StreetPasses might make a good currency as well in the sense of Blinx 2's odd token exchange system too.

I don't know, I liked Blinx's time control collection mechanic. It adds another layer of strategy to the game.

I think it would be a good game on the 3ds, the 3D effect could make the game more difficult yet fun.

I disagree with the idea. I'd rather stay with the platformer on the XBOX 360. Like alaways.
