Hi anyone who may still be around,
I just found this board and joined as of about 20 minutes ago...Wish I had found it earlier. Blinx was the first ever video game I played and it is to this day one of my favorites. I recently got very nostalgic about it and was wanting to see whats going on in the world of Blinx.
I first got Blinx in 2002 when I was 6, it came with my xbox along with jetset radio future, some racing game and mechassault. That year I played through it twice, I found it challenging but as a six year old it was challenging in a fun way. I recently looked up old reviews and most of them agreed that it was too hard, I laughed when I read these and thought "Ha! a professional video gamer reviewer couldn't beat the game but a six year old could twice!" I recently picked up my old copy of Blinx: The Time Sweeper and played through it a third time to completion. I still found it as good as it was the first two times.
When 2004 came around and Blinx2 was released I was ecstatic. My favorite feature was the addition of Co-Op so that I could play it with my younger brother, who is also a huge Blinx fan. We played nothing but Blinx 2 for probably two years. We both loved it, but we also found it a little two easy compared with the first installment. We both couldn't wait for Blinx 3 to see what changes would be made. However, that has yet to happen. I am still patiently waiting for it and I will still keep on hoping. I'm going to pick up Blinx 2 again and do a few play-throughs with my brother when I'm home from College this summer.
That's it from me for now. If anyone is still out there in the Time Factory, share some of your Blinx memories!
